Accessibility
At the Columns, we are committed to welcoming all guests and making your stay as comfortable as possible. Our historic 1883 mansion presents some inherent limitations due to its age and architectural design; however, we strive to be transparent and accommodating wherever we can, and want all guests to make informed decisions about their stay.
Guest Rooms
- Due to the historic nature of the building, we are unable to offer ADA-compliant guest rooms or elevator access
- Doorways, bathrooms, and corridors do not meet ADA dimensional requirements
- All of our accommodations are located on the second and third floors, accessible primarily via the original mahogany stairwell. Elevator is not accessible for wheelchair users.
Public Spaces
- The main entrance to the hotel and public spaces requires steps. There is a ramp available to the right side of the building, which provides entry through a private dining room prior to reaching the front desk/lobby area.
- Doorways, bathrooms, and corridors do not meet ADA dimensional requirements.
- Public restrooms do not meet ADA accessibility standards.
